PGR4 Demo on XBL???

Can't wait for this, just had an email my copys been dispatched already, unfortunately via royal mail so I probably shouldn't expect it till like Friday/Saturday :(

I dont want to pee on your campfire, but I doubt you will, the backlog of stuff will be horrendous. Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow night. Im going to have to venture into one of those 'shop' things I heard about to pick my copy up :|

Same here. Given up on idea of a net order getting to me in decent time so will go pay shop asking price. First time for what must be getting on for a decade now. :eek:
 
ive been waiting for this:),I bought PGR3 yeaterday for peanuts, just, to have a bit of a blowout,,, great game, still looks good too.
 
Sweet game this.... just failed the cone challenge by 0.18 secs cos of a silly mistake!

It's PGR3 with better graphics basically, which I'm pleased with

I don't like the bikes at all, but then I've never enjoyed bike racing games

From the demo, its still not a return to PGR2, but its a nice improvement on PGR3, saying that I've only played for 20 minutes so only done like 4 races, but still, first impressions are key ;)
 
For me as a real lover of PGR3 going by the demo this game is a big improvement.

Its FANTASTIC on the wheel, graphically very pleasing,great audio and with a brillant sense of speed.

I partriculary like being able to skip past menus and restarting a track youve failed at. Some games make this process slow and boring not PGR4.
 
just a tip for 4 mb Virgin customers.
if you download the whole demo after 4pm and before midnight your
gonna get peanalised for going over the traffic shape cap and have your speed crippled. clap clap virgin.

anyway looking forward to this i loved PGR2 and 3. :)
 
Loading times are fine, infact quite quick compared to some games out there. It even caught me out while I was rolling a ciggy, and Im the king of rollers. :>

The checkpoint test on PLATINIUM gaining 15 checkpoints is so ****** brillant.
That track/City is 10x more interesting than Monaco yet gives the same awesome speed being so narrow in places.

BEST GAME WITH THE WHEEL YET IMO !!!

Makes the game so much more challenging, correcting powerslides and drifting, oh man this game is something else.
