DX10 ATI vs NVidia gaming benchmarks

This thread is doomed now aint it, its gonna go down a big black hole.

Time for bed, would love to stay but popcorn ran out :(.

Are we reading the same review?

Seemed to me that at anything above 1280x1024 the 2900XT actually beat the 8800 in:
Bioshock
COH

And lost at:
Lost Planet
World in Conflict

How is this different to all the other reviews? Win some lose some.

Obvious you have the mentality of a pubescent teen, 99% of the forum know your a clown, except your two sidekicks. Helmet, 99% of your time is spent on the forum, that's why your post count is so high for the small amount of time you have been registered, majority of your posts are abusive and that's why there was great rejoice when you were banned, if you got a ban on here, you would probably top your self.:o Done with you now, boom head shot.;)

On topic, i believe ATI will deliver big on the driver front over the next few months.

I suggest you stop the childish insults, at least until your account problem is resolved:)

I rarely visit here any more due to threads like this, always with the same offenders too. They split their time between creating carp all over this forum and then proclaiming their innocence and how it is "always someone else's fault" :o

All the time willhub m8, but he pleads innocence, says 1 thing 1 day, says another thing the next day, then denies all on 3rd day. ;)

BubbySoup, thats a shame man, I was put of even regging many times over the years for same reason but I did reg as of info needed on some parts (never did get here in time before they arrived), but I did join and I do at times hit back at abusers and get myself in bother.

With regards to DX10 changes, these are not app specific changes - the titles listed are just what is now scripted in the automatic benchmark runs in the performance lab.
For DX10 this release primarily does two things: This is the first change that we've made to the base DX10 driver to improve performance; you may see different results in more DX10 titles than those listed here. Secondly, Crossfire for DX10 was working only in app-profiled manner previously (with only a few apps in place), how we have implemented the "app-compatible AFR" mode in the DX10 driver.

This is Dave Baumen of ATi, so from the titles listed to be improving in the "Shoot Em Up" driver we should see other gains in DX10 titles that were not listed due to the DX10 base driver being improved.
