Like what? theres nothing new I can see. Though COD4 is great whats new about it? Nothing golden era about it same old crap rechurned. Compare this to 10 years ago when games really were being invented and created. Everyone wanting to get on the mmo bandwagon, and developers seeing no money in the pc other than sub based games.
 
It's quite annoying really, Crysis is the only new thing but even then it feels like Battlefield 2 to me. There isn't anything creative being done these days.

how can you call crysis the only new thing, bioshock is a lot more original that crysis!

carmageddon
blood
grand theft auto
incubation
starcraft
interstate 76
need for speed 2 special edition
quake 2
toca touring cars
total annihilation
x-COM apocalypse

the list of amazing games from around 10 years a massive

nothing has been released in years that comes close to any of these (barring BF2, supreme commander also brought something a bit new)

Not buying this game, To me it seems just like COD 2 (Which i didnt like) but with fancier effects and graphics. No rag-doll physics and the typical COD scripted to buggery levels.

A bit disapointed but from the earlier videos i saw of this i wasnt holding high hopes for buying it.

Simply everything owned (IPR etc) by EA.. so no new stuff out there. EA only put money they get a massive return on so now all we feel is gaming by accountancy.
 
Crappy wireless internet in my halls has finially allowed me to connect so im downloading now.

erm there is rag doll in COD4 infact if i remember theres a setting for it in the options....
 
Just tryed it and it's ******* awesome, love it, runs ok too, definatly getting this when it's out :):).
Now to try UT3 :).
 
where is the fasted place to get the demo? My virgin media is more like 56k or something atm, i only get about 50kb/s tops atm (including gamershell)
