Hi lads!

Im just wondering what you lot think are games that you think "wow" after playing it but arnt exactly mainstream. Eg: max payne - great game that isnt played by as many you expect.

Maybe for some max payne is a bad example, but i hope you can see where im going with it :)

List your "hidden gems" here and spread the love! :D
 
Vampire:The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

I was thinking about this game earlier and I really want to play it again. It's a great game with a great atmosphere that was unfortunately ruined in part by a load of bugs and performance issues, but apparently a patch has been released to address most of those problems now.

Really, this game is awesome. I don't know what it is but it's great and everytime I think about it I get a kinda warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling. I must play it again!

good one,my eldest daughter is still playing my copy of this,and as much as i could see the potential,i never really had the energy to really get into it myself,my loss i guess.

Seriously, Psychonauts has to be one of the bigger underdogs of gaming history. I recently picked it up fo 6 euros:eek:
 
Yea i played grim fandango a long time ago when i was about 12, good game, but cant remember anything about it lol.

Chronicals of riddick i have always wanted to play, so if the xbox360 backwards compatability supports it (because if i remember correctly it came out for xbox aswell as pc) I will pick it up. My pc sucks, plus my gfx card has died so xbox is the only option.

Psychonaughts , i have always known to be a good game, but it never really made me want to go and get it, but ill have a punt if i can get it cheap. Ill get that for me xbox too if it supports it.

Also, if your wondering why i posted in the pc games part of the forum and I am saying im going to get these games on my xbox, its only because i know there are far many "hidden gems" on the pc then anything else. :)
 
Discworld - Ledge!

Cybernator on the SNES, oh I wish they'd remake this now!

Battlefield Vietnam - Again I adored this game and wish they'd do something for it on the BF2 engine

Kingpin - Good old FPS, very good online too

Twisted Metal 2 - Oh yes, back on PS1 spent many hours playing this in 2 player.
