The hidden gems

Hostile Waters. Never see anyone mention it, but it's very cool. Was made by Rage, and features Tom Baker of Dr Who fame as the narrator. Uses a number of RTS elements very well while still allowing you to get properly involved in the action, and the AI is good too, especially when they start talking to each other.

Psychonaughts , i have always known to be a good game, but it never really made me want to go and get it, but ill have a punt if i can get it cheap. Ill get that for me xbox too if it supports it.

Get it for the PC, the graphics are the sex at high res.

I had everything on High with 1gb and a 9800 pro. It's a pretty sweet game engine. :)

Was quite tempted to buy this but was put off by the fact that one of Rage's earlier titles, Incoming, was just a platform for flashy graphics and had incredibly repetitive gameplay.

While not necessarily a hidden 'gem', I thought Tribes: Vengeance was a good game with a nice storyline and some mix of traditional linear shooter with arena combat. Yet it is very rare I see it mentioned anywhere.

No, really, so many on OcUK PC Games forum have no idea what is it.
No, I agree with him. It's the overstatement of the decade. We all know it's your "thing" to be obsessed with StarCraft but it's not really as funny and spontaneous as used to be, I think you should try less hard for a while.

Chronicles of riddick - Absolutely amazing game.

should be installed just for the intro........best intro in a game ive ever seen.
second best would be warhammer dawn of war.

as for naming a game i will name stalker.
takes a little time getting into but has a great atmosphere....give it some time and its rewarding.
