Well, if you sterilise it, it 'probably' wont get infected, but it may close over. They can close over SO quickly it's stupid. You can push a piercing though the closed over bit, but I wouldn't recommended it lolThanks for the reply.
Would taking out the stud to wear the earring for half a day, and then putting the stud back in be fine or am I risking the same closing over/infection (after having sterilised, that is)?
off topic (sorry!) but where in gravesend are ya from? i#m by Sainsburys
You're the 4th person I know on here from Gravesend... mini-ocuk-meet ***!![]()

If it wasn't for all the Indians, Chavs, and Chavvy Indians, Gravesend could have the potential to be a nice town.

Good luck with the piercing. I've never had one (and don#t intend to) so can't offer any advice![]()
This.Get it pierced properly, eith a needle at a proper bodypiercers. It will cause you a lot less hassle than getting it gunned.

Depends were it gets pierced. You would be surprised how quickly piercings can close over. If i were you id give it at least a week or two before you change the stud for either one of your own, or a ring or what ever. When you do change though, make sure it is sterilised or what ever, just give it a boil or something as you want to change it over so early, it can(and possibly will) get easily infected.
The needle is awesome...My mate who got her ear done at the same time as me hated it, but when I got mine done I loved the feeling of the needle in my ear.I can't believe how much bad information is floating about on here.
Get it done properly. With a needle. Wait 6-8 weeks before changing it. Give it mild sea salt soaks to heal.
