You mean there are cars in Evo? I got mine and I've yet to see anything but Shell adverts in it.

Is it me of are shell preaching to the converted advertising in Evo? Surely anyone who has a car that needs Super Unleaded is probably making Shell Petrol stations their first port of call anyway?

That's a Mitsubishi? It's meant to have a Nissan badge, surely?

Personally I think it looks great, a wee bit more understated than the old ones, power does look a bit low, but we'll see on a road test.

THeres more then one type of sul so they are targetting their prime market?

Japanese evo X- 280bhp

UK ones are more...

PLUS its a Evo, its a japenese car, its born to be tuned!, if it already outputs good amounts of power with not much to do, Mitsubishi will be letting down there fans !!

I am trying to understand how looking like an R34 Skyline is a bad thing?

The new Impreza looks like a Daewoo. Surely you wouldnt rather one of those?

It's probably heavy due to all the sensors and wiring for the super handling/active yaw/abs/tcs/esp/tea maker functions

Well it's not a bad thing per se, but it's just so obviously similar to the R34. Yes it does look good for it, but what I don't understand is why it's not (from the front at least) as outlandish and lairy as the cars before it? It should by rights look as mad as a bag of spanners now if the preceding models were anything to go by.

Toning the 'look' down maybe, to produce a better looking, more popular/appealing low-end family saloon appearance for that sector?

They have the Evo vs Scooby. Main thing, the subaru has more bhp/ton, not surprising as the evo weighs.....

1540kg!!!!

Also cost difference is massive, £30k for the evo vs £20k.

Both have a pretty lame bhp/ton too :( 182 evo vs 189 subaru.

Hot hatchs have more

Focus ST weighs around 1450kg and so has 155bhp/tonne whilst the Golf GTi at 1340kg produces 147bhp/tonne so the Evo is still usefully higher.
