Dissapointing but i expected it really, i assume these are grey imports brought in from the continent? If so it will be interesting to see Nintendo's view as they have taken a lot of steps to kill the import market.

I'm one of the many after a Wii but unlike Johnny 5 year old i'll happily wait until after xmas to get hold of one.

It's strange to think that I could probably still sell my (nearly) year old console and make a profit - sadly I love my wii far too much to do that..

Fair play. Nice amount of stock too, id imagine we will get double that to split around our whole company, and even then itll be lucky to cover preorders.

There quite clearly needs to be a Saint Cheapskates day a couple of weeks after christmas so people can give each other things they've bought in the sales. Though it would probably get over-commercialised and expensive after a few years...

Very dissapointed at the price tbh. I am looking at buying one as a present for someone so was pleased to see OCuK would be stocking it but I won't be spending £50 more than RRP.

I really dont see why there is still a shortage this far on. The technology isnt exactly cutting edge and 12 months on it's the same panic as last xmas.

Yet I've easily found these for friends this week.

Nintendo trying to create a drama for xmas.

Regards the conspiracy, how else can you explain 2 months before xmas 1 year on there still isn't enough units to go round. They know their sales figures through the year. Is it that hard to ramp up production for xmas?

I dont think so, there will be plenty to go round before xmas eve.

The problem last year was that people were snapping them up from retailers just to sell them on the bay and make some easy money.
