As im currently writing this from my hotel room in vegas I would agree with all the above. Theres no secret about what vegas offers and if that appeals to you then go for it.
If you are on a budget then there are ways to save money. A collegeue has been staying in the travelodege at $50 a night. You can get 'all you can eat' buffets in the casios from $20. The flights are the only expensive part, though booking far enought in advance should be able to get you a discount.
As I'm finding though vegas is not the place to be if youre working, after 14hours of work each day you just want a quite meal and to go to bed, this aint the place for that!
The sheer scale of the place is also deceptive, the strip alone is over six miles long. The other day I walked past Ceasers palace, 10mis later I was still walking past it!
Las Vegas has to be the ultimate testament to capitalism and love it or loath it you cant help but be overawed by it.
