ever slepped on your arm ???

Mate of mine fell asleep on his arm on the stairs once, woke up some 7 hours later to a completely dead arm. Doctor said he starved the muscle of oxygen, and had atrophied it (if that's possible??). He spent the next 2 weeks regaining the strength in training... lifting pints as he was signed off work. 2 weeks, 100+ pints and 10 days of statutory sick pay later... :D

I once sat down for too long and too awkwardly tried to get up and one of my legs was dead, this resulted in me tumbling to the floor.

I do this all the time - worst one is both arms under pillow while face down. You wake up and can't move, only way to get your arms out from under your head is the 'spaz wriggle', kinda like a breakdance caterpillar gone wrong.

i do it quite often, but once and only once i woke up with both arms dead and thought i was paralyzed in the arms, it was well scary

heh i have woken up with both arms totally asleep a couple of times.. is very annoying as i sleep on my front, and with no arms to push yourself up, and your arms getting in the way of you rolling over your pretty much stuck there till they wake up :)

Woke up this morning with from my elbow to finger tips with bad pins n needles. Couldn't even pick my dressing gown up for a min or two

Same as me. The thing is my missus can sleep like that all nigth be fine in the morning.

Look like a total **** when you wake up. All wriggling around and stuff. :(

I have, feels awesome. All the numbness, I then proceed to whack the wall with my arm. No pain ***.

I did it in my office chair.

Sitting/kneeling in the chair for a few hours, not realising my left leg had gotten totally numb. My girlfriend came in to talk to me so I pushed away from my desk and started to get up and stood up on my left leg. It buckled and I fell like a sack of potatoes.

She was crying with laughter. :(

Oh man ive done something similair

Feel asleep with my arm above me head before, only to have it drop down on me, lifelessly, on morning...

Scared the poop out of me.

Ive slept on my arm with my hand dangling over my face before which scared the life out of me; seeing a hand right up close and not being able to tell whose it was!
