I bought the previous version of Pro Evo for both PC and PS2 and the PC version was much worse, unfortunately i fear this new version will go the same way, an after thought for the PC

just how exactly, the game engine was idential on the PC, so much so you could play online PC vs PS2 players. only diffrence was the loading times and cool mods like kitserver on the PC, posibly how you control the game too( though easily sorted with an xbox 360 or ps2 pads hooked up).
I I have both versions, unmoded they are completly identical.

same again, only because its cheaper on PC really, not too fussed about modding it to get all the right teams etc but I might as well if I get it for PC

Blockier graphics,(I have graphics card that can more than handle it) not as fluid as console version

Really? Mine looked great, I had it running 1680x1050 with the widescreen fix, looked far better than my friends PS2 version.

Thanks. That has made a big difference. Cant wait for the real thing now.
Rubbish. It's the same engine. If anything the 360 is blockier as it's run at a lower res.

Something I've noticed since I've been playing (PES-3), the PC version is actually slightly slower than the PS2 version. It's not the hardware, ran it on multiple PC's, now including the one in my sig, the PS2 version is just slightly more responsive. For the record though, getting the PC version of PES08.

I'm with you on the game flow, the PC version seems uninvolving compared to the faster pace of the consoles :/
take it your talking about the pes 2008 demo on both 360 and PC?
I have played both and they look and play the same from what I can see, although I have only spent 20mins on each demo.

Does it? It may support 16:10 resolutions but it doesn't set the correct FOV for them (hence the fix above) I'm sure there'll be a similar fix for PE7.

I have decided to go with the xbox360 version. I have been persuaded by some of the lads at work as they all have 360's. The competitions run by the Hacker (in a "beat his last man and he will slide tackle you hacker sort of way"!!! "RT" F-T-W 
) known as "Cheets" also runs some comps in the console area...
If my xbox gives me the red lights then I can always buy the PC version. I just think more people will have the 360 version than any other platform!!
