Take it back then :) still shocked that someone who has slated the game for months went and swapped a game they like for it, and it also amazes me that in light of a save replay function you never thought to save these faults you claim to have seen and show us here. So I will remain dubious about these claims, but I am really glad you do not like it, means you won't need to post about the game no more so win win :p

I've had it say that I've given a free kick away when the game is still running and no free kick has been given.

I tried to get the Gentleman achievement for about 30 matches. You can only foul once per game. It was damn annoying because I didnt press any button at all. I just ran to block the ball. No fouls where ever given yet I'd end some matches with 4 or more fouls having been called. Yet there was no foul I never even attempted a tackle.

I dont see how people who liked the last evo could hate this. Its the same game with better close control. Yeah there's slowdown in replays and the online is crap at the minute but for gameplay its the same as the last one.

Do you think I give a **** if you believe me? They happened.
I thought you could only save goals.

As they both happened in my 2nd full match I'd be surprised if it didn't happen again.
I never slated the game. What I said was it needs updating (now I really believe that) and that Fifa had caught up (I now believe it has surpassed it).

Now that I own it I will comment on it in any way I want. I'm always honest irregardless.
 
Well coming from the man who declared Bioshock GOTY blah blah before even playing it then you will excuse me for finding your opinions worthy of a pinch of salt :) You can comment on it all you like if it makes you feel better about it, good therapy I guess :D Just don't troll the thread please :)
 
I said it was likely to be game of the year from the press it had recieved.
There's only one troll in these threads my friend, and it's not me.
 
Just going by the blog on your sig, game of the decade you declare, then an admission to have not even played it :) So forgive me for not following your opinion.

So...do people think this is an improvement over PE6 at all? Because if it's not, then i might as well save my money and get PE6, can get it with Oblivion for £22.50 at the mo for the 2 together.

Atm... no, at least PES6 is far superior online with PES2008 in it's current state.

Once they release a patch though I think PES2008 is a better game.

So much for the PS3 being the definitive version.

What did they use all the space up with anyway? Isn't it supposed to take up 18GB or so on the Blu-Ray?

I would wait to see if they fix the online, it's very broken it's not even funny how bad it is really. If they don't then yeah it's still better than 6 but would be a single player game only, which off course removes 99% of the fun :)
 
From my memory and the help of google, it took Konami a month to patch PES6 and as far as im concerned, and as long as the lag situation is significantly improved, I will be extremely happy.
