Find out whether a car is insured online

Odd, according to that website my dads Toyota Supra Turbo which is currently SORN & not insured as it's been sat in storage for 6 months has suddenly turned into a Nissan 100NX & is on the insurance database

What a garbage website.

According to that my car isn't insured. I have the insurance documents on the table next to me clearly stating it as insured. . . WTF?!

I had a heart attack a second ago when I put my car through it said I wasnt insured, but it was a typo lol.

This seems to be the best way to find the engine too, it's the only one that's worked for "7", which I used to see on a Bently from time to time, it's on a Bike now, appartently.

Aaaaah nuts, it stops telling you what the car is after a while. But 1 and 2 appear to belong to the same bloke, BMW 530i and BMW 545i.

This site seems so random, just went through loads of reg's on my books and a lot of them are aparently not insured, and some come up as insured but dont come up with any details whatsoever, such as my current mercedes.

Potentially cool, but seems a touch innacurate!

Can I point out you shouldn't be searching registrations other than those that are registered to yourself?

Bit of a stupid statement it's not like people are going to abide by it. As per this thread people are running up every man and their dog's reg :p

Cheers for playing the do gooder though :)

For company vehicles it is the responsibility of the policy holder to ensure that their company vehicle details are provided for MID. To find out more about this please contact your insurance provider.

this is prolly why people on here with company vehicles are not showing as insured?
