These cards are looking more appealing the more i see em, amazing that its only 2-4 frames slower than a GTX, thats probably without AA/AF though, so i wonder how much of drop over the GTX they get when thats added.

I only game at 1280x1024, and only use 2xAA/16xAF with Supersampling on my 320mb GTS as im not really bothered about lashings of AA, and it cuts through everything fine at those settings, ive no need to change anything in the Nv CP at all, so be interesting to see how much of a drop over the GTX it would get with just the 2xAA, and if it still aint that bad, and other brands have better/quieter coolers, then i may get one, will easily tide me over till the 9800's next year.

Id also agree with the above about SLi, 2x 256mbs in SLi will be totally pointless, just like 2x 320mb GTS's are, as your still going to be memory limited to either 256mb on the GT's, or 320mb on the GTS's, and being in SLi wont make a difference at all with the newer games coming that need more memory for their bigger textures, so your just throwing your money away, as your going to have turn your details down anyway as you don't have enough memory, 512mb+ cards is the way to go for SLi, not 256/320mb's, as thats just a non starter.

The review from Boot daily just shows how much the GTX is. Once people give a final review with the finished GTs, i might get one.

I was a bit afraid that a £180 GT can catch closely with a £350 GTX. Is it worth getting 2 GTs in SLI mode?

Maybe but you have to remember the new GTS is out in two weeks time. That will be faster than the GT and hence faster than the current GTX. I would guess they will be same price as old GTS so will start perhaps at £210 for a ocuk version.

Don;t forget you only get 30%-50% with SLI so if the the GTS cards are already 20% faster than a GT you might as well get one of them rather than two GT's

Or just get two GTS in SLI :D Now that would destroy an Ultra and still cost less

In my situation, i'm a bit limited to time. I get paid on tuesday and my bank is just going get rapped. I like to see how much the new revised GTS are going to cope with the GT's but with me i dont have that much time.

Why have you not sold your 320 GTS?

I sold mine for £160 about a week ago so pretty much a free ticket to a GT

My brother needs a new card for his machine, so he can have my old GTS if I get a replacement from my RMA but hopefully, I'll just get a refund.

Sorry if these have already been posted:

Boot Daily

that bootdaily review means squat. look how stupid they are:

on the left of that pic, they say higher power consumption is better. for that alone i say that site is not to be trusted.

I so much want to sell for this card but I'm a little worried about current benchmarks as I bet a few are. Different drivers for different cards and lack of AA used paints a very motion blurred picture :confused:. Yeah, cheers Geektown .
