Whos ditching 8800 for new rev?

And they might only have 50-100 in today anyway.

Think about 50,000 wordwide with the largest cut going to the states I would guess?

Say 50 countries which would give you 1000 per country on average.

At least 20 retailers in the uk at minimum guess gives you an average of 50 per retailer.

Ocuk may have got more than their fair share of stock but even then I can see these been sold out within half an hour or less. There must be more than 100 people posted on here saying they are buying one today.

But there will be the same amoutn available again next week and the week after. I guess some people will have to wait for a card unless they are quick.

If that really is the case I'd be expecting some insane prices :p

well by seeing the amount of prices mentioned by different people a lot of buisness would be lost by suspensions if all was punished maybe a quick rethink of the pricing would have ocuk back on the winning track.

Oh well, a tad more expensive and will have to wait longer than expected but i sneakily logged on at 2pm today whilst in work. Took me 15 or so minutes to decide but i eventually ordered the cheaper BFG one. I'm terribly indecisive but it was between that and the cheaper EVGA. Hope i made the right choice? Either way, i've deffo got to see huge performance gain from my current 7300gs in sli! :)

i get a £8 postage on a 8800gts, so i don't know where your getting 15 quid...

Any package sent Royal Mail Special Delivery that weighs even 0.1 over 2kg's will cost you £19-95 to send i sent out a BFG 8800gts 320mb and it was 2.5 kg so it cost me £20 ouch.

Insured upto the card's value as well!?

If you're talking about 1st class recorded then sure £8 will sort it, but as said with special delivery anything over 2kg will have to use 9am service which means £20.

I sent mine through DHL standard 1-2 day insured upto £250 which cost me £15.

Been toying with the idea of replacing my GTS320 with a pair of 8800GT-512 in SLI, now that the price has dropped down to where it was supposed to be. By the sounds of it this should be a more cost-effective solution than the 9800GX2.

Only dillema really is that my PCI-E lanes only work in 8x mode in SLI, and whether my 470W OCZ would be up to the task of powering it all.
