Ok I did some bug hunting tonight and came across a few "issues" that Crytek need to fix if they want this game to be realistic in a futuristic sense.
1: The Graphics in very high dx10 mode are not how they were showcased in the gameplay trailers we have seen. I have created a video to prove this.
Evidence
The key differences you can see are how light plays a very important role in their video, rays of light shine through as you'd expect, there is haze and shadows dependant on where the rays hit...none of this exists in the sp demo in dx10 very high and the performance is poor still!
2: I killed a jeep gunman and then set the jeep on fire with the gunman in the jeep laying there...dead. After closer examination after the flames went away the gunman had all his flesh and clothes, he was not burnt...
Evidence
3: I drove a jeep into the water, it was submerged. I shot the petrol tank and the car went up in flames and exploded with flames, you would not get this in reality would you, only an explosion and water going everywhere - perhaps this is asking too much though
Evidence
I drove faster so the car was deeper in the water a second time and the same happened again. Flames then boom.
4: I jumped on top of the enemy boat with 2 enemies still on there, the gunman and the driver, I sat there for ages watching them stop...go...stop...go... why did the gunman not shoot me? he was shooting me earlier before I jumped on....
Evidence
5: When you switch your weapon to sleeper bullet mode you can only shoot one at a time after a long reload of the next sleeper bullet, you can cheat this delay by simply quickly switching bullet modes until you get back to sleeper bullet mode.
Evidence
6: I've also noticed all trees take 4 shots in single shot mode to drop regardless of where you shoot them. If Crytek were details enough to put physics and realism into how far the water pressure pushes oil out of a barrel when shot from different heights then this is the simplest thing they missed out...It should take more bullets to drop a tree as you shoot lower on the bark since the tree is thicker lower down.
