Easiest way to leave a job

Go into your bosses office and start throwing yourself against furniture. Hit yourself with his keyboard. Once bloodied and bruised demand whatever you want.

don't go out all guns blazing, worst idea ever, 2 years is a long time and a solid reference

have a meeting with your boss, saying you're strongly thinking of handy your notice in, see what happens from there

Leading on from my other thread about changing jobs, i'm actually losing the will to live, i need to get out of this job, now.

What is the easiest way to get out of a job? I don't want to be fired and apparantly i have to give 4 weeks notice, but i think i will die if i stay here that long.

Help lol

Andy

Hand in notice

Take 2 weeks hoilday and call in sick for the other 2 weeks :D

This way you still get some money cominig in and 4 weeks to get a new job very quickly

I do love these constant updates about your working life. Maybe you could, you know, make a decision without consulting us? Just a thought...

Don't consider taking that car sales job, you wont last 5 minutes. Seriously, your posts are epic, you post asking the most daft questions ever, it really brightens up my day. Do you really have that little common sense that basic decision making ability eludes you?

I mean honestly, nobody but yourself and your employer knows your notice period. It's that simple.

Your employer can decline your holiday requests, so you can't insist on when you take your holidays I'm afraid.

You don't appear to have another job lined up so I would suggest you look for another job in the first instance, this should take your mind of your current position.

Will you require a reference from your current employer, always bear this in mind when thinking of exit stratergies!

you got a new job all lined up?

if so, walk into your personal department, and say
"screw you guys, i'm going home"
oe
"**** you, you ******* ******* i have a new, better ******* job, so **** you guys"
is the one i may use when the time comes :D

or, do as most people do, just stop going one day, ignore all letters/phonecalls, pretend you never worked there

Maybe not the easiest way to leave a job, but it will give your ex-coworkers something to talk about for months.
