Do you report people to the police?

I've only called the piloce on the idiots down the road from me who ride their mini motos up and down the road. Not heard them for a while, I hope they got crushed. (The bikes, not the people, but then again........)

A fired of mine called the police on her husband after he had four pints and then drive home. He lost his licence for a year. She's a doctor and see the impact of drink driving every day.

I lived next to a 30mph residential road for a year or so, opposite a school - during which an idiot in a Civic Type R would regularly use the road as his own private autobahn on the way home from work, there is spiriting driving and there is behaving like a tool , this guy was the latter.

I phoned my local police station who took the details and reg of the driver off me and told me they would be having a word with him. wether they did or they didn't I don't know, but we didn't see much of him after that call.

You shouldn't be dithering in the wrong lane, that way people wouldn't undertake you.

If they undertake you on purpose, you're in the wrong lane. Move over.

I don't, it's when there's a large que in the outside lane and they undertake to get past one or two cars then push in.

what does it achieve, they still can't go anywhere, it does my head in.

I'll report people who i think are drunk, i've only ever done it once, a guy in a white Escort van was swerving all over the road, mounted a kerb at around 60mph and nearly lost control, so i called the police, gave the reg of the car and the direction he was headed in, never heard anything more of it though, they said they would call me if they needed a statement.

not reported anybody to the police...but I have informed the DVLA about an untaxed car parked down the road from us as I know the buggers are still driving it..if I have to bloomin pay I want everybody else to be paying as well!

If there's a large queue doesn't the person in front of you get annoyed when you hit them up the rear as you speed up to avoid being undertaken?

I haven't reported anyone to the police but have reported a taxi driver to his firm. He overtook me on a single carriageroad right near a sharp corner - he had to cut infront of me leaving me a bout 12ft breaking distance. I called his cab office and informed them I had just been onto the police and that they would be hearing from them soon. I thought this would put the frighteners on him till he got back - when control tell him over the radio ;)

If someone is tail-gating me I usually pull in where possible and then join the road again it annoys me so much - I think braking seems to aggrovate them even more.

I've noticed on the motorways that most drivers fail to leave a safe braking distance. Has anyone else noticed (especially in the right hand overtaking lane) people drive right up your backside because they want to get passed. It's usually the 4X4's too.

A white van driver that lives across the road from us regularly comes home on a friday night at pub chucking out time, parks a fair way up the road from where he lives then drunkenly staggers home, always drunk and occasionally so drunk he'll fall over a few times on the way. It absolutely disgusts me that he drives in this condition and i feel that i should report him before he really hurts someone but i wasnt sure who to contact or how to go about it, do i just call our local station?

Yup call the local station - get a video camera, of course it might be used as evidence and dosen't take much to work out where it was recorded from. Needs to be caught in the act ;)

He could wipe out a family in a car travelling back home or something, he's obviously not a very responsible chap and totally selfish. Get him reported mate! :)

I've phoned the police twice.

Once when I saw some kids throwing stuff onto the motorway from a bridge  and once when I saw a wardrobe in the fast lane.
