Angel Eye's Qustion

By the way mrk none of the pictures you have posted above show a factory fitted set of angel eyes. They are ALL aftermarket fitted.

Even the white 5 last one? I google image searched for bmw 5 series angel eyes and that looked as close to what I recall from memory on what the 5s look like! (colour wise)

I don't mind angel eyes on cars that come with them from factory. I'd never ever fit them to my e46 though, they look so wrong. Especially as everyone seems to be fascinated by CCFL ones which are basically headlight neons and nothing like proper BMW rings. They also seem to be really unreliable going by the forums as well.

I had them fitted to my prefacelift e39. look so much better and I can actualy see at night now. pre facelift lights are worse than candles :p

but to be fair I hardly use the halo sidelights there either on or off normal.

I could do with my headlights "vastly improving" ! useless in the dark!

The stock lights on my Bora are like candles (something to do with the reflector design being cack according to some bloke from Hella). Swapping to better bulbs made a big difference.

I can recommend the Philips Extreme +80% bulbs. Road legal and much better than standard.

Wont be long before you see cars with A5 leds on the front too :p

they'll be the new angel eyes

audi esque led sidelights

they come on all new audi cars with xenons. So expect to see lots of S line kitted audis with these once the new models come out.

I've seen them on a Vectra already.

Angel eyes can look very good on BMWs which didn't come with them as standard. The main problem is, the type of person who generally fits angel eyes is the sort of person who will also fit stickers, lexus lights, chrome alloys, etc - so what could have been a nice subtle modification turns out to be a monstrosity.
