Calzaghe vs Kessler Nov 3rd

Hbo interviewed kessler he said in that round when the ref pushed calzaghe away that he had hurt him and was in trouble.
I tell you something very few give hatton a chance but i just have a feeling he's going to fight relentless like an animal and put mayweather in trouble if ricky can catch mayweather with some rib crunching punches we will see.
 
have to agree with you HBO watchers, he sounds like a good bloke, someone worth having as a champion of the world :]

Very. They asked if Calzaghe did hurt him genuinely when the referee pulled Calzaghe away and he admitted he was in pain and was genuinely hurt. When asked whether he would have considered taking a knee should the Referee not have jumped in and he said 'no, never. If I can stand I'll stand' (with a wry smile).

But he was very gracious in defeat, praised Calzaghe's style, admitted he was pretty much amazed at Calzaghe's ability to take *that* uppercut amongst others.

I wouldn't say I watch a lot of boxing, but I've seen more than most I would say, and you don't often see fighters so comfortable and gracious in defeat. He's asked for a re-match, personally I'd love to see it after that, but it looks like it's gonna be B-Hop.
 
A good fight, Calzaghe deserved to win although Kessler threw the classier and harder shots IMO

I really hope they don't go after Hopkins next, maybe I am one of the few that don't want to see that fight. I just think it would be really quite boring and there are better challengers out there.
If they are serious about fighting in the US then they should fight Bad Chad IMO.

Next weeks fight Cotto v Mosely should be a cracker. Then Vargas v Mayorga for a good ol fashioned slugfest. Followed up in December by Mayweather v Hatton... Great end to the year for boxing.
 
Although Kessler lost the fight, I think the Americans will pay big bucks for his future bouts and he'll rule the Super Middle for a while.

Anyone complaining about their Setanta subscription now.;)
 
Makes me yearn again for the glory days eubank benn watson collins maclelan i do miss the sport hope it comes back in a big way.

I agree, I'd seen little of him before, but was aware of his talent (obviously), but I was very impressed by his performance in the ring and against anyone other than Joe, he would have most likely fared well and won. Without Calzaghe around Kessler has the division at his feet.

Yea he was good gets so excited and shows genuine enthusiasm.
Damn got to get a copy of fight night 3 and xbox live now.
Then we will truly see who is p4p the best in the world.I'll have to make do with ready to rumble on the dreamcast for now.
 
I think he's the american dickie davis oh kellerman is the younger guy !
he's the guy that said this is the first super fight since this division began shows how little he knows about the sport
i would consider benn vs eubank eubank vs collins benn vs mclellan eubank vs watson all superfights
