I know, I was only pointing out that Liverpool's 'keeper, back 4, CM's and main striker aren't superior to the major PL contenders and it's debatable whether they are as good as

On current form, few would argue. But, let just see how Drogba performs throughout the season.
He was awesome last season too.
Reina would get in United + Arsenal's team
Finnan would get in any premiership team
Carragher would get in any premiership team
Gerrard would get in any premiership team
Alonso would get in any premiership team barring Chelsea as a DMC
Torres would get in any premiership team
We're very strong in certain areas but atm we lack striking depth and quality on the wings as Baz said, Kewell being back should go a long way to rectify this.

Carragher wouldn't get in any of the top 3 teams if I was managing. Terry and Carvalho wouldn't be improved by removing one of them for Carra, Ferdinand and Vidic the same, and the weaker of the three (IMO and only as they've not played together as much) Gallas and Toure are better players and suit Arsenal's team better than whats just a stopper and no player.
Carra would be good backup but wouldn't be happy with that.
Whose places would Gerrard, Finnan and Carragher take at Chelsea?
Lampard's, Belletti's and Cavalho's respectively.
Although I'll admit theres very little between Carvalho and Carra and it would come down to personal preference to who'd you play.
These three wouldnt get anywhere near the top teams and it seems to be something Liverpool fans have as a blind spot about
Reina is simply too flakey, he is all over the shop, good shot stopper, but not a great one.
Carragher wouldnt even enter the consideration of the likes of Arsenal and Man U.
We like our players to be able to play football, not just lump the ball about.

Haven't seen much of Belletti but never seen Finnan score like Belletti did.

Firstly Carvalho is head and shoulders above Carragher, not even worth discussing
Lamps is awesome for Chelsea, Gerrard is awesome for Liverpool, I doubt either would be as good in a different set up, to claim that Gerrard could replace Lamps and still be as beneficial to the side, which is what it's all about not who's the best player, is just a guess
Finnan might be able to replace Belletti I don't know for sure as I haven't seen enough of either to make that judgement, fair play to you if you have though
Reina's been faultless for over a year, infact pretty much ever since he came to Liverpool except a few games at the start of the 06/07 season.
Gallas and Vidic don't have any ball-playing abilty worth mentioning, a centre back is the last position you need any technical ability in anyway.
He's solid, very consistant and also a very good crosser popping up with half a dozen assists every season.
If your rivals are Everton, Villa & Blackburn then you might have a case with that, but if Chelsea are your rivals then they're better in those positions and Arsenal and Man.U. are better in most too.
Reina is as good as VDS and better than Aluminium but not as good as Cech.
No-one is better than Belletti-Terry-Carvalho-Cole.
No-one is better than Lamps-Essien.
No-one is better than Drogba.
Collective teams may be better but you can't claim to be better in those positions with what you've currently got
Reina's easily better than both VDS and whoever Arsenal put out and has been faultless this season, which can't be said about Cech. As for our back 4, they may not be the best individuals (though Finnan has been the best rb in the league for the last couple of years and i don't think there's anybody thats been much more consistent than Carra) but our defensive record has proven there capability as a unit. CM, i'd take Gerrard and Alonso or Mascherano ahead of Lampard and Essien or any combination Utd or Arsenal could put out. Im not a huge fan of Drogba, he's had 1 good season in his entire career and is suddenly being spoke about as a superstar, i suppose he's effective though.
My point was there isn't a notable difference between our keeper, back 4, center mids and main striker compared with Utds, Arsenals or Chelseas.
Liverpools wingers are just really really really bad, that's why despite having 9 players of equivalent or better quality than any of their rivals they don't particularly look like challenging for the league again. and lets not forget that the injuries they have suffered since benitez took over is on a level of crisis unseen before in sport. Chelsea, Arsenal and United fans are either blinkered or blind not to see that.

Were you not aware of Chelsea or Newcastle's injuries last season?

Torres for instance might end up being better than Rooney or Drogba but he's not yet, he hasn't played enough games to be ranked near them.

Not at all, I'm assuming you were on about the best collective unit, Less Ugly Neville for instance is the best RB in the PL (when he plays) doesn't mean he's part of the best back 4.

I was talking about the unit but as you named the individual players i presumed you were talking about them as individuals, especially as i don't think the 4 players you've named have even played together yet. And as entire units both Liverpool and Chelsea's have had better defensive records than Utd or Arsenal's over the last couple of years, which is why i said our back 4 was comparable to that of our rivals'.
