Cooking with Jonny69: Corned Beef Hash

Mmmm, looks tasty :) My stomach is now telling me it's lunch time!

One question I've always had about chorizo is the outer skin. Is it plastic or intestine? I've never known and spend ages peeling the stuff off in case it's plastic. The photos look like you have left it on?

I just take it off because either way its tough as old boots

It's ok when it's cooked so it's either softened from cooking or melted :p

I made this when it was first posted, it is indeed good.

I added a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard and some worcestershire sauce to mine as well, very nice :)

Im trying to be healthy at the moment. You think it will taste ok with the corned beef substitued for microwave boiled chicken? (boiled chicken hash) without the sausage

That looks proper nice, I'm gonna have to go get some chorizo from the shop to make it!
Lidl is good if you have one near you.

Yeah it'll be fine, that will be a good plate of chow.

nah we haven't got one near us, I've found some Mattersons pork sausage stuff in the fridge wonder if that would go in alright with it?

Guess it wouldn't be as flavoursome as chorizo.

yeah it will taste nice, but no where near as nice as chroizo. Chorizo is simply amazing not just as a sausage but to flavour dishes a bit like stock.

You can get chorizo in the supermarket, Tesco have it on the deli and Sainsburys has it in a pack but it's cheaper in Lidl. I probably wouldn't put anything else in unless it's chorizo.

Me! theres one in Leeds. I ended up getting 3 helpings of the meats. Le Tasca £10 all you can eat is well worth it.

Yeah I've been to that one and the one at Medowhall a few times, I love going there.

£10 all you can eat me and my Dad had about 10-11 dishes each I've never been so full in my life.

Mmm...might make this tonight, was sitting here wondering what to cook. Havent had it in ages. I like adding a bit of Parsley into the mix too, just to add a touch more colour really, and a light flavour.
