Do you pull over for motorcyclists?

Just thought I'd throw that out there for opinions....

If I see a motorcyclist behind me I usually pull as far over to the left as I can so they can ride past safely (without having to go on the other side of the road). Pretty much every time I've done this I've got an acknowledgement wave from them.

Do you all bother to pull over for motorcyclists or do you sit right in the middle of the road and forget they're even there?
 
I pull over sometimes, but other times if i see them being an idiot behind me then i wont. I dont see why i should let them past tbh, i dont have to
 
Yep always move over to the left for bikers - No reason to try and hold them up. If I could get through the gaps I would.

You stay where you are mate, stuck in miles of traffic. I'll filter past safely without a bother too either of us & get to where i'm going in half the time ;)

Generally most people stay where they are, which is fine. Bikers are quite aware of what everyone is doing, so just carry on how you are. If people move over I'll wave to say thank you.

If people move over to block me.....I just laugh & feel sorry for them.
 
If its safe for me to do so yes i will but i won't do it just because they are pressuring me to.

Majority of motocyclists i have encountered are polite too, usually always saying thank you.
 
Yeah I always do, I find generally hat most car drivers do pull over to allow me past although some pull over in the most stupid of places at times, like blind corners or hills/dips in the road.
 
No, never and never will do, why should they need to over take when everyone else has to queue, most of the time they would be breaking the speed limit if they went to overtake me anyway! Now if I was a biker then it would be a differant story i'm sure :)

I pull over for motorcyclists, but if there is some little 16 year old scrote behind me, revving the nuts off his little hairdryer, I dont even think about letting them past.
 
I think it must just be where I live, but I always move over for bikers and never has a single one thanked me for it.

Yet in threads like this, the bikers say they always say thanks, and everyone else say that bikers always thank them! :mad:

I guess people round by me are just ignorant. Or they don't like me. :p
 
i pull over but if your in queueing traffic on the motorway (ie all the time on the M62!) on say a bend you cant see em coming up behind you till they are one or two cars away from you....
 
No idea but it keeps me warm and out of the wet and one could not care less about pollution :p . it just ticks me off that every biker i've come accross seems to want to race all the time and sits on your bumper no matter the speed, rather then driving sensibly like most over car owners.. I'm going to regret saying that...... :o
