Yes game was supposed to look like top, it looks more like bottom, that video is not good quality anyhow as it would be a massive file.

Top one puts me in mind of Preditor Movie, with a hot humid Rainforest, I can actually see that in the Photo 
It looks far better when in-game, it looks like a game from last year in that bottom screen I think.
Nearly looks like Stalker. :/

I have to admit looking at the top photo it does look surprising like the rendered pictures that are used for the media photo's. Theres was a thread some where with those pictures posted.
The only reason I say it looks rendered is because all the shadows in game are casting onto every object, including the foliage. It looks very much like its rendered using ray tracing or radiosity techniques.
Although I've yet to see the post video, to see if this kind of shadowing is present in that video.
***Edit OK just watch the video and i am still not convinced. The shadows in the video are only cast by the trees where as the screenshot above clearly shows that even the small shrubs cast shadows on themselves.
It is possible that they decided to remove these shadows thou as it would take a huge amount of processing power to create that effect using just rasterizing techniques for the shadows.

the guys on that forum do have a point though, this guy is extremely reluctant to share the actual map file. regardless of size, how difficult is it to put it on rapidshare? or megaupload?
That video looks so OMGOMZMZ amzizignin!!!11144432232 becuase of engine settings not becuase of an edited .cfg, they used fog in a dense forest with mega bright HDR and megabright over the top sunrays- does look pretty cool though.
And as for this;
The bottom image only looks like that becuase all it's illumination is ambient and is not being directly lit, hence the flat looking-ness of it.
Apprehensive to quote myself but seriously- crysis can and does look the top photo, the bottom photo is a product of ambient illumination a different type of foliage and no action happening.
Stop being nubs and jumping on the bandwagon.

It's already out by editing the files, I'm sure someone will release a 3rd party modification within days of the release.

But I think you need to edit the time of day on the actual map too, will probably be a better modification out when it's out properly.
Yeah they are the TOD settings - not an actual quality improvement then, just more of stuff.
