Drake's Fortune demo on PAL PS3s

Just a quick pre-emptive note. If your PS3's primary language is not set to English, it won't play the demo. There's some strange bug in there somewhere, which understandably panicked a lot of European gamers. If you're from France or Germany or etcetera, don't forget to set your PS3's primary language to English to play the demo.

Mine don't work, but how would I go about checking? Mine is a legit UK PAL 60Gb unit.

Well ah... some guys did say that it's not a definite fix and that Drake's Fortune demo won't work at all on some PAL PS3s.

I can't even begin to download mine, as the US Store refuses to load at all. Others are getting 'please insert game disc' on opening the demo.

My Uncharted doesn't work either, exactly the same as rp2000's

Has to be something to do with 2.0 and the regional changes.

Looks like Sony have started region-locking their demos. That's a big bag of suck.

Cant see why they'd want to regionally lock demo's but thats Sony for you.

Well, it's pretty much been confirmed, no Europeans can play the demo, which is just really really really REALLY stupid. Not a single European guy on GAF and several other gaming forums can get it to work.

Looks like it only works on US consoles

(whos got one ?) would have thought if it was region locked it would say something rather than just crash machine though? Maybe its a bug in the demo unseen as it was only tested on US PS3's? Anyone tried the other demo to see if thats the same?

Nevermind. Might aswell stop this download now, been looking forward to playing this demo all day aswell. Hopefully a workaround fix will be in order sometime soon!

I really don't understand to region lock this (if this is the case.) You would have thought Sony would have wanted as many people to play this with it being an exclusive title aswell.

Sony, you have dissapointed me today, one with a quite frankly poor effort with the latest update and now this with the uncharted demo.
