Tattoo people pls

My perception of a tatoo on a bloke is he is saying "I'm right 'ard". My perception of a tattoo on a female is she is saying "I'm very 'worldly'".

When I see all those tattoos it just draws to my attention that IMO they look a bit weedy.

Seriously, is this to intimidate people? I just dont get it.

Inside/underside of left upper arm hurts like a motherbitch. :(

Indeed it does :(

I have no need or want to intimidate people. If you don't 'get' tattoos there's no point trying to explain it to you :)

Also, if you knew what a Koi represents you would know that it's anything but 'weedy' :)

£50/hour.

thats how much my next one will be, but thats a "show rate" since im having it done at SKinTech 2008 at Manchester Gmex. Going to be a straight 5 hours worth of work in one go!!!

Looks good so far. Cant do my arms due to wearing short sleeves for work, so next one is going on my thigh.

looking good so far, please keep us updated with the progress. When I can afford it im looking to get a full back piece done. Some serious time/work involved for that one for the design I want, A ninja leaping through the air with his katana stabbed through my left shoulder and then continue down the front of my body so it looks like its gone right through

Would love to get it done by either Chris Garver or Kat VonD, hmmmm the dollar is good against the pound atm lol :)

50 per hour is a good rate. I've got a couple of Tat's, one on my back which has the Koi in it also. Probably about as big as a small plate. I got mine done in Bali and they where extremely quick, less than 45 mins and they look pretty good.

I;m also thinking about getting a half sleave done, but with a lot of colour. The other ones i've got are black and white.

Where in Bristol are you getting it done? The studio on park row has quite a good reputation.

Tat's aren't about scaring people, for me, i get them done to signify something that has happened in my life, sort of like a personal reminder. For others there are different reasons.

Nice Koi, lovin this post...

Sleeves rock, i'd like to get a sleeve myself one day when i can afford it.

I don't mean to be rude but that is one of the silliest things i've heard this year...
Tattoos generally represent something in someone's life, what they've been through, going through, or they just simply love the design or art work they get done on themselves... it's all relative... intimidating people, now that's funny! lmao

I've got tattoos & i'm one of the quietest/reserved people in the world!

Looking sweet,

I have always wanted a tattoo but i am really **** scared of needles (i know i'm a wuss)

i absolutly hate needles, had a very bad experience with one, but ive got 4 tattoos now, and usually watch them being done, doesnt seem to bother me at all, doesnt feel like an injection needle at all :)

Getting tattoos don't bother me, the one on the back of my leg wasn't painful at all, i was just bothered that i might fall over when it was finished due to lack of blood flow becoz i'd been kneeling on a chair for like 30-45mins! lol

What does bother me is going with my friend to get his tongue pierced & the piercer going out of the room whilst my m8 has a 2-3inch needle stuck through his tongue in full view of me! was gross...lol

the one ive had down my leg hurt a lot a few days after, my muscle seemed to decide to have a holiday i think :p

Inksin in Yate. Lee is a great bloke and have used him for my previous tats, and know a lot of people who have used him before. Having seen his sleeve work before he's damn good.

As GSXR said, it is too bad. The outlining is actually the worst part, I find the filling in quite relaxing and enjoyable TBH. Depends where on your body you are having it done aswell, the less flesh there is the more it hurts.

I LOVE the feeling / sensation - ive had tats on both my ankle's so
not much flesh there - they nipped like hell :D

Also have one on my spine at the bottom of my back and i swear
i was nearly snoring when it was done i was that relaxed.

its sooo addictive :)

I'd like a sleeve that extends up over the shoulder, but I doubt I'll get it done anytime soon :(
