Tattoo people pls

I love the sleeve in the original post. All I can say and I hope you're aware of is that money should not be an issue when getting something like a full sleeve, i.e. you want someone really professional to do it for you and if you have to pay a bit more than do so!! You do not want a shoddy job done.
I keep wanting more = Dam the TV series L.A Ink - Kate Von D is the man! (woman)

As far as the pain goes - on skin it does not hurt more of an uncomfortable feeling, where as on the bone = ouch. Mine was on my side and all on my right side of the ribs - ouch!

A friend of mine has a very similar sleeve on his leg, looks very nice indeed. he's covered in tats, b+w, but this is in colour and really stands out. Love it.

My last one was just either side of the spine just below shoulder level. Could tell when she doing the outlining and was going over the spine
Shading wasnt to bad.
Best i can liken it to is scratching sunburn with a sharp finger nail.
Next one will be pain free, having my thigh numbed.

Looks carp to me Drexel :p:D.

Seriously though, looking good :).

And pics tbh Blackstar.

I fight to urge of tattoo regularly, one day I might just go ahead.

let's see some more full sleeves lads (and girls if there are any lol).

looking good drexel. £50/h is right about what i would have guess. I'm guessing its gonna take a good 8-10 hours at least if they are doing it right, which again would put it right in the ballpark of Penski's figures (and lets face it he knows a lot more about this than i do:p)

Having a sleeve would be awesome, but im to scrawny for it :D

Mmhm I may be as well but that isn't stopping me.
I'm getting mine done over a few years bit by bit, it should all conglomerate into a final design before i'm 30! :p

I'm off to Berlin beginning of next month to carry on with it, anyone else going? :)

mine i had done a few months ago. going to eventually get a 3/4 length sleeve. just skulls/demons/angels with a bit of personal text. done at Tribal Images in Hanley. dodgy camera phone pic :(

*bang* and the picture is gone!
There, just been recoloured in the top section, still needs final sortage there, Tuesday will hopefully see it near completion.
Image not staying up long, please no one quote it.

I have a very rational dislike for off-the-shelf tattoos (seriously, why) and for tribal tattoos. The complete lack of originality involved with both is staggering. Tribal tattoos are just cheap and tacky.

Respect to anyone who has original, thought-out and artistic designs, though. Particularly if you drew it yourself.

That colour looks amazing, really nice :).

Hope you don't mind me quoting the text btw :p.

Nah, as long as the picture isn't quoted.
I'm looking forward to it being finished, frondy bits are going greenish blue. Found the general shape online, then changed it slightly (mainly shortening bits). Original picture was of beaten metal work, once i had the outline completed i got out my colouring in pencils and worked out how it was going to look (it was originally going to have pink in it as you can see but changed my mind and i'm glad i did even though it was more than a little painful getting it recoloured only a few weeks after completion (not fully healed). So mostly my own and my tattooists work, the shop owner loves it and want a picture to go up on the wall.
