someone pulled out in front of me, wrote off my car

right. so because someone has an accident that means there automatically speeding, nice.

even if i was doing double the speed limit, it would still be the bmw guys fault, he cut in front of my path causing the accident. 2 cars both driving strait along dont just magically crash unless 1 does something wrong, which clearly wasn't me.

to be fair your the one who has crashed 5 times and on this instance is on the wrong side of the road planted in the passenger side of an oncoming vehicle.

passenger side? i didnt touch his passenger side did i?, his main impact was middle to drivers side.

my bad i meant drivers side, it would have been normal for you to hit him on the passengers side if he were crossing across your path.

thats why im pretty convinced what actually happened was that you though he was going to cross your path but he stopped, and what you did was assume he was going to keep going and turn across you, when you crossed the centre line assuming he would be gone and drove right into him.

There is no clearly about this situation at all.

well the insurance will sort that out. the other guy hasnt bothered to claim against me yet and my insurance seem to be on my side, because he pulled out in front of me

Did you expect them to be on his side? lol

It's a right of way violation and the person who voilated your right of way at fault.

Should never of posted this Danny, I had a similar accident in march last year and recieved the same treatment upon posting the situation on here. I genuinely had no control over the situation and it was just one of those things. At the end of the day you too can sit back and just assume "facts" about the people trying to shoot you down, because I bet most don't practise double standards and what they preach.

so you think it might be my fault? or have a i misunderstood

did you win your claim ?

Fair enough, I coasted to lights etc because I thought it saved fuel, trip computer lies!

Thanks for the heads up guys :D

I wasn't allowed an opinion. Norwich Union condemned me as at fault no matter what. Bunch of ********.

Anyway, the insurance companies will deal with the police, makes things smoother. So pass on the police details.

Quite common knowledge not to admit it’s your fault in a car crash. I have insurance cards and accendents cards saying that on them in case of a crash do not amit fault

Thats just so insurance companies can themselves try and shift the blame or at least make it a 50/50 claim so they only have to pay out half. Same kind of dishonesty.

Therefore you wouldn't immediatly notice whether he had his belt on or off, so you must have seen this pre impact.

slightly different circumstances, but my only crash touch wood, I was stopped at the lights, got rear ended, looked up guy on the phone. I did him for that too, after he contested. It went to court, he got done for driving without due care and attention on top of the legal fees etc.

Op: I would do the driver too, for being an arse, if he continues to deny turning right :)

Remind us of the situation? It seems unlikely that everyone but yourself, including your insurer who of course will try their damndest not to pay out, considered you at fault but yourself..?
