**CALL OF DUTY 4 MODERN WARFARE**

Most supermarkets these days sell it, so with Tescos you should be fine, be prepared to pay more than the online price.
 
Well from what I have seen in our morrisons, they sell PC games but sometimes they dont have the latest games, they seem to concentrate more on consoles, Asda and Tesco maybe your best bet
 
Anyone else getting a lot of the models just showing up as a black? Done some looking around seems a few other people with the 7900 are having the same problem..

Basically all the character models including ** gun are black...Occasionally they show up normally when they run under lighting or something but usually always just black?

guess I'll have to play it on the 360

It hasnt happened to me, but a friend of mine who has a 7950 (GT OC I think) has been moaning about missing textures and generally complaining of the game looking shoddy.
 
Is their any change i can make to enable aa/af more than 4x and most settings wont go any higher than Normal, is this right?
 
Fixed my problem with the game not starting.

COD4 doesn't work with the latest ATI drivers. I had to Roll Back 4 times. Game works with out a hitch now.

Im shocked at how well it runs on my 4 year old machine. Have only played alittle SP but MP is what is awesome.

Now i just need my brand new machine to be repaired so i can play this game with every setting maxed out. :O

:/ Why do you need more than 4x? mine looks perfect with even 2x at 1680x1050.

As for the other settings, normal is as high as it goes for the first gfx screen. The Advanced screen is all max for me.

i got confused lol, as waiting for ages, and then as i thought screw it, i shot, and then he said cost is clear, then he said we were compramised. loved it though! the whole saving him and running away.

also, my fav part about all that was before you go to the building with the rifle in it, just before, you have to sprint and hide throughout the troop squads behind the building, sprinting behind the AI... very well done tbh :D

Theirs another thread for this issue, seems Activison got hacked, dont know how that could affect 3rd party servers. Try setting your firewall to allow Cod4mp.exe, punkbusterA and PunkbusterB, gonna see if it works now.
 
I just sniped that bloke on the Chernobyl Level, how the frig do you escape, just keep getting hammered by guards coming from every where
