Is it acceptable for men to drink wine in pubs?

A bit of a generalisation - I think the whole fatty debate goes on to other things bar drinking. A lot of female friends love corona or half pints of san miguel or something like that.
 
You can come and order a glass of wine at the bar of my local, but you'd best order an ambulance at the same time.

Wine is a lovely drink in the correct establishment with the correct clientele.

I still can't believe this discussion is going on. LOL! It's almost as if this is the most earth shattering revelation/topic ever discovered! :D Though it's interesting to see people's insecurities about themselves ;)

It's fun though :D

I've drunk alcohol in a great many forms, at all times of the day, in many different places and for many different reasons. Don't get hung up about it. Alcohol is a thing to be enjoyed for many different reasons - just enjoy it. If it's not adversely affecting you, your family and friends, your job or isn't against the law - go for it, have some fun. Don't worry about what you're drinking or where or when or who with :)

Yeah, if you're in a rush, just drink twice as fast ;)


It doesn't matter in the slightest. I sometimes have port, but am mostly Guinness or whisky.

Some of my friends are spirits only, while others drink alcopops. No-one cares!

The problem is some people like you and I are just too easy going and don't give a **** about what people think! Best way to be frankly, and you get to enjoy life and good drink! What more do you need?! :D

Only while your partner is in the shower and can't see you using it 2 feet away.

Is it acceptable to take a dump while your partner is in the same room?
 
the 3 basic rules of drinking are (im my opinion):
1) it should not kill you (this includes being killed by someone else who disagrees with what you are drinking)
2) it should not bankrupt you (so you can go out again and get more alcohol)
3) you should enjoy the taste of what you are drinking

port is fortified though, it nearly counts as a spirit ;)

Also tastes damn good.
