why? please explain
Cable is generally a lot more stable than ADSL. ADSL' speed is distance dependant, where as cable' isnt.

Mine is Cable...if that would make a huge difference as VM are just rubbish in EVERYTHING (My own opinion) lol
Well, I get disconnected on the 13th Dec and hopefully have Sky working around that date too....come on 16mb broadband LOL
Is that the ADSL or the cable broadband ?
I'll bet you £100 you dont get over 8mb

The next time you call a call centre, think before rattling away to the person on the other end of the phone. Fair enough, they're your only way of venting at the time. But I'd sooner help somebody out who was being calm about the whole thing, than somebody who was shouting the odds.
IMO, you crapped in your own nest.
Yep and the problem is Cable is not available as much as ADSL is. I wish I could get cable! A friend who lives a few miles away can get it but not me.
Oh, and also if you're getting sky tv be prepared for your tv picture to go **** up during bad weather![]()

Not at peak times it won't be!During real heavy periods my 2MB VM drops to around 1.2 - 1.4MB.
I wonder what happens to the 20MB connection?
