Scottish style basket hilt broadsword
Made by Rob at Castle Keep.
A cracking swordsmith based on the isle Skye
Beautifully balanced and finished.

Couldn't resist, as i've got another being custom made but the waiting list is around 12 months.

what's with the random picture of yourself? or is that another sharp toy you've bought? ;)

heh, nice sword. have you got some smiting to do?

did you buy it for sport, or just an interest in pretty, sharp things?

No smiting planned, but you never know :p
I just like pretty sharp things, a good swordsmith is an artist, but i've never had the free money to indulge till now :)

Looks nice dude How much does it weigh?
$qu!ff your friendly neigbourhood serial killer
1.27kg is quoted on his website.

Cool, but I don't like the basket hilt. Is is actually sharp and what do you do with it?
Yup it's sharp, it's a proper hand forged sword.

Why not?
Why have more than 1 watch?

Can you slice through 8' of reinforced concrete? It's done on the movies so must be true ;-)

Wow. Erm...what do you do with it now you've waited ages and paid through the nose ;).

It's not for one of those Lord of the Rings fantasy clubs is it?

er why ?

is it for sporting use ?

Because I like the asthetics of swords.
Why do some people spend thousands on watches?
I expect it to appreciate too as the swordsmith is become more in demand all the time.
