New sharp toy

Jealous doesn't come close. I visited Rob at Castle keep last year and fell in love with a set of longswords. £2400 unfortunately.

But to say they are live blades, they are worth every penny.

Question...

Why?

In your opinion, does the OP buying a sword make him a "nutter" do you collect anything? If so why, or should you give a reason why? Well make real swords are great as collectors items, or even just decorative. Crossed swords on a mantlepiece look great.

very nice sword m8 :)
I have an Iaito myself and a few bokkens, but they are for training purposes.
does anyone else have a katana or Iaito?

I can only go by what I'm seeing! Let's say someone in a cold dark street was walking towards you with that thing - would you be more concerned if it was an old man in a suit or a pierced tatooed individual? Preconceptions are the nature of the human race; everyone makes them, whether you'll admit it to yourself in public or not. And Sic, I've made preconceptions about you from your sig, if that's ok :o

If your preconceptions are well-founded, then they'll be that I like sarcastic comedy in the form of Stewart Lee

and also, I'd be more concerned if he was in a suit - think about it dude - the guy with the piercings might go crazy and kill someone, the guy in the suit is on his way to kill someone

I doubt it dude they'd have to ban certain matial arts competitions if that were the case as virtually every professional martial artist who takes part in sword play uses battle ready swords
You can make it illegal to buy and possibly own but have defences for certain approved activities where you would be able to.

oh lol, nosey gits :D
God I forgot about the lamb pics.
That's from the days of cs and reckoning RealDeal was fathered by a sheep lol

What the? If the sodding pope was coming at me down a dark street holding a sword id be freaking out, what a bizarre thing to say?! He ain't gonna be walking down the street with it now is he.

Everyone makes preconceptions yes, but as far as im concerned he's no nutter for having a couple of piercings and a sword out of sight in his room. Calling someone a nutter from one picture of them with a piercing IS incredibly narrow minded, preconceptions or not.
