RR Day 7 - At last, He booked it !

Cheers Gareth was a good day, got a good result as well which is nice.

I am using the engine power as it is a bigger number lol.

Had a great day. Much better with fewer cars, although I would like to run mine next time to see if it's actually making what it's supposed to.

Bear - I've said it a few times and I'll say it again. Your S14a is awesome! Thanks for the passenger ride

The miserable barmaid was hot:o

Great day again guys:)

I second that...I actually found her more attractive the more snotty she got.
That bum was just peachy! The blonde australian barmaid was gorgeous too...what a great accent!

Hi there

Yep as usual an excellent day.

A little annoyed I forget to write down the instruction on how to get mine running but because I expected it not to run I was not that annoyed.

I am happy by the fact it got 330BHP at 6000rpm, wheras peak power is 7800rpm, so it definetely seems on target for 360ish.

It had far better torque than I expected though at 385nm (285lb/ft) at 4900rpm.

Sorry if anyone did not get a passenger ride, but I felt like some kind of ring taxi:D and took as many people as possible.

To those who had a ride, now go out in a normal M3, you will soon see and very much hear/feel the difference. :)

Considering its was marketed as a track car I think most will agree on how comfy it is and how its very misleading over how fast you are really travelling.

You're welcome guys (those I gave lifts to) and thanks to Bear and L1J for taking me out in their beasts!

Really impressed with my results, had a right blast home with a grin on my face! :D

Wish I could have given more people a spin, and taken on some drier roads which I knew better next time! I hope you enjoyed it and didn't find my driving too appalling!

Thanks to Gareth for organising again - great day out, nice to meet new people and see old faces. :)

So much for having a girly car eh?! :D

so thats why you wasnt at work today then, you was hooing about in your m3 ;)

I wish I went to the pub now so I could've blagged some passenger rides :p, I'll make sure I tag along to the next one!

Hi there

Found a dyno graph for CSL at Thorney Motorsport:-

POWER_FLYWHEELSTAGE2.WEB.jpg

According to their graph their CSL made 310BHP at 6000rpm and peaked 355BHP at 7800rpm and were achieving 270lb/ft.

Needless to say I am very happy about mine hitting 325-330BHP at 6000rpm and peaking at 285lb/ft. Thats either Powerstations rollers over-reading or I have one of the better 370BHP CSL's which do exist but are rare. :)

It'd be just your bloody luck that you had one of the uber CSL's :p

I wasn't impressed with your conservative driving on the way home though, I thought you said you kept it in sport mode all of the time ;)

Hi there

Motorways are a boring place and far too risky, I do want to keep my license. :)
Sport mode has to be one, without it the throttle does nothing. ;)

If we had de-limited motorways though I'd certainly be off onto one now to see if I could hit 190mph top speed. :D
