Can the D40x use the 4gb SD cards

Pretty much as title

I think the camera can take the 4gb cards but want to make sure before a buy one.

My D40 can so the D40x should do as well

Edit: Yes it does - should say SDHC on it

You can get 4GB non-SDHC cards you know, should anything have a problem with SDHC. Anything above 4GB will be HC though.

Are you sure? I though anything above 2GB was SDHC.

Nope, you can get 4GB non-SDHC cards as I use two of them in the car, which doesn't support SDHC.
