Do you pull over for motorcyclists?

Personally, I dont 'pull over'. I'll give the bike room, but I wont be putting wheels in a ditch to do it.

As a biker, I appreciate cars which do pull over. However to be honest, it doesn't really make much difference. I dont feel safe going between cars at motorway speeds so even if someone is pulling over to make a gap, I'm not going to shoot through the middle of 2 lanes. I'll wait until there is a safe gap and then pass.

If its round town speeds, then as long as a driver isn't intentionally trying to block me, I'll be past anyway. I've often had to pull the mirrors in to make the bike even slimmer. ;)

I'm a lot faster than the car so if i want to overtake, i will just do it. Sometimes people swerve to the left and kick up all grit, stones etc from the side the road which is annoying but at least they are aware of me. I appreciate people pulling over in traffic though so i can miss their mirrors!

One thing i do hate though is drivers who feel they need to use all their screenwash at once when wiping the windscreen. If i'm following a car and they 'squirt' - i hate getting covered in screenwash. Also hate people who throw their jeb ends (cigarettes) out of the car.

get over it, its an opinion. the internet is full of them.

Get over yourself kiddo... you are a short-sighted cager who needs to learn some road manners, and would in no way shape or form spout off his opinion n the defination of the term biker to a person any other biker would actually call a biker...

hey, it's an opinion, the internet is full of them... ;):D

muppet.

Now now kids :D

Sometimes its nice when they move over but it makes you feel as if you have to overtake and sometimes I'm happy where I am !
I think its nuts when some drives erratically swerve into the cycle lane knocking any poor cyclist that may be using that lane over

maybe you shouldnt hang around on peoples bumpers or at the rear corners of the car looking like you want to undertake / overtake :p

Do it all the time. When i had a motorbike i found it very useful for people to do so. I like to get the wave also :p

Yep not had a single person step out in front of me since changing it :D
A lot of people only look when crossing the road if they can hear something coming !

Heh its great it actually works, but sometimes i feel bad as i see mothers with children running across the road thinking im going faster than i am :/ but then again it really does save my ass a few times so outweights the bad points lol.

I allways "give room" to a rider, I like to see what it is they are riding :) and its polite.

If I am out...........
(strictly sunday on my 600RR of course ..I've done all the effin painfull stuff in my past, so err who cares!!!)
..then I just take each car at a time ie, a highly potential hazard , even if someone seemingly pulls over to let you past, if its some chavalier I'll still give it plenty of damned room. If its got a large exhaust I already have judged the iq available to the driver in question. If on the other hand the "road language" is right I'll give a polite wave of thanks.

If its a "sorted mota", RX7 I'll probably ponder over the lack of understanding of the basic laws of physics ;)

Argue all you like, it won't change the average bikers definition of the word biker.
For me, the word biker draws up this image. Google agrees with me. ;)
