Defoe and Beckham for Barry and Wright-Phillips.

Barry off is right, but Wright-Phillips is the only threat we've really had.
 
What a complete shower of ****, i wasn't expecting much but this surpasses everything by a mile. Defence all over the place, midfielders not really knowing what their supposed to be doing and a lanky plank up front who's poor distribution isn't even in question as no one is supporting him. He's not a great back to goal player but he has had nowhere to put the ball. Shocking :(.

There HAS to be changes now, should have been already though really.

This team couldn't finish a bowl of Frosties never mind the job.

So often England just seem to limp around the field with no guts at all - especially for big matches. Where's the fire? Where's the passion? Look at when Mexico played Argentina in the last World Cup, everyone on the pitch was knackered but both sides were pushing for everything right to the final whistle.

We need some of that...
 
How stupid to play a new goalkeeper in such an important match...
England need to bring it out the bag next half...

Agreed.

Anyone remember Beckham's first game in a while? He brought an entirely new dynamic to the team, the REAL England. :)
 
Why bring Wright-Phillips off, he's run his socks off like he always does. The Croats didn't get on with his pace, should have brought Lescott or Bridge off.
