LG Viewty or the Nokia N95?

n95 onwards, nokia have got their act together - Nseries phones are no longer slow.

LOL. I was actually just looking at these two this morning and I was asking the guys at work which one they would go for :D

I suppose it depends if you are going to use the extra features on the N95 (WIFI/GPS).

I don't think I will so I'm thinking of going for the LG Viewty, love the touch screen and it definitely is the better looking imo. Thinking of ordering it tomorrow morning to get it for the weekend.

I ordered the Viewty about half an hour ago, but the only delivery dates avaliable to me were from 6-12 Dec:(

Got my Viewty delivered this morning and called Orange to come and take it away this afternoon. I'm used to the m3100 and had lots of Windows powered smartphones before that and I like the flexibility of them, I thought the Viewty could turn me back to 'normal' phones but the interface just felt clunky. For me the most important thing is email and web after being a decent phone and being OK to text on. Was tempted by the TYTN II but orange want £200 off me for that which is just too much, so I'm thinking I'll be getting a Touch Dual when my Viewty is checked back in.

Jeez, give the viewty a chance man, you have to get used to the touchscreen and the interface is plenty fast for phone like the viewty.
 
i prefer the n95 mostly for the wifi as there is free wifi at my uni , my flat and all my friends flats . I did consider the viewty but ultimately the wifi was the decider.

Also if anyones interested i crafted this post on my n95.
 
Some body on gsmarena asked the following question.

The only thing putting me off this is someones comment that the keypad locks on a call. Is there any way to turn the lock off (maybe using the lock hardkey?) so you can enter digits while on a call? How can you pick up voicemail etc., if you can;t?
