Wednesday Nights Game.- England - Croatia *SPOILERS*

There aren't any qualified Englishmen for the job, so I just hope they get rid of McClaren, who was never an international manager in the first place, and just employ someone who can get something out of our players, no matter what the nationality.

One thing that really annoys me, is why has there been such a lack of passion in our team, pulling on the shirt should be all the motivation they need, get Psycho in there to kick them where it hurts if necessary.
 
Whats the point of having a great manager, when the players are distinctly average on the whole, our superstar players did nowt tonight, absolutely nowt.
 
Better team won in the end. Cracking goal from crouch but their 3rd was on par. Keeper was unlucky as he def got a touch to it.

Will McLaren go? Dont think so I think he will do a Sven and have to be removed and paid off.

On the whole England did deserve to go through their whole campaign has been like this lifeless and shoddy.

Doubt the Special one would take the job either he dont think much of the English Media.

What a crap team, I fully blame McClaren. A goalie who aint played for england before, a solo striker. God-damnit
 
Oh dear. What a poor performance. Lampard and Gerrard, not for the first time, in particular were poor. Croatia did play well however.

It's also a sad state of affairs when members of the British public enjoying the team going out, or can't wait to sack the manager.

Still if they do, a culture change in who they pick is needed I think.

Venables? No thank you, that's in the past.

Though, out of the entire English football history, Venables has the best lose percentage out of every one at only 4%.

if you meant that england don't have any top class players then i'd disagree. if however you mean that englands top class players too often don't stand up to be counted when in an england shirt then i'd agree wholeheartedly.
 
They need a manager who can give them a good kick up the arse and get them to sort themselves out.

A certain Mourinio would probably do a good job, but I don't think he would take it personally.

So who else? Moyes? :)
 
We lost because of Lampard. England played the best they have for years without him in the past few qualifiers, and as soon as he is brought in we play terribly. He is pointless when Gerrard is playing, England would be better with another striker than the extra man in midfield. Gerrard was ok in the first 45, as was Barry, Lampard didn't touch the ball.... As soon as Barry went off, Gerrard went off the boil because he had to drop back and cover for Lamps.

Please God, just let the next England manager see that Gerrard and Lampard have never, and will never, work in the team together! Keep one as a supersub and stop trying to force square pegs in round holes...
