He wasnt as bad as Lampard. Every single time Lampard gets the ball (even if hes in his own half) he has to take about 8 touches and do a little turn on the ball wtf lol Gerrard hits it straight away and chases everything but lamps doesnt have a clue who to give the ball to.

Moyes wont get it or do it. He would do well though because he does well getting the best out of **** league one players (england) rather than spending millions on ****.
 
Gerrard did OK I thought, put in two or three of decent balls but there was no one there to stick em in the net, he was trying to actually make things happen unlike Lampard or Cole. Campbell did OK as well.

Crouch was the only player on the pitch playing to his potential.

No one else deserves a mention.

Neither had the best of nights tbh. Our defence were utterly clueless, Croatia should've won by 5+. I'm so sorry for poor Carson, he's going to take nothing but stick for what happened at the start.

Lescott played for everton last year and was excellent. This year though apart from getting forward to score goals has been poor in his actual chosen position of defence.
 
I'm utterly ashamed to call myself English tonight, I said to my mate when Crouch smashed in the second, everyones gonna go "never in any doubt" and McClaren will be hailed as a hero but he shouldnt be.

I agree with some people on here being glad they've gone out, someone needs to step up and have a pair, I still cant believe that neither England manager has figured out that you cant play Gerrard and Lampard together, they are near enough the exact same player, they clash completely instead of complementing each other, I would have played hargreaves holding instead of Barry, sat Average Frank down and let Gerrard play in that role he does for the scousers.

Absolutely diabolical and I am hereby startin a petition for McClaren's head.
