The Official Assassin's Creed Thread

I must be blind...i can't seem to find anyone to pickpocket for more throwing knives :(

When your health is full, they glow white, usually tall fat guys with little wraist pockets on the back of their ass.

If you fail, they start a punching match with you, don't worry, just punch them til they drop and you can get the knife that way too. Long as you don't draw sword the guards won't interfere.

Those big brute like guys with like an ammo belt around their shoulder. Lock onto them with LT and then pickpocket them.

Edit: Doh, beaten to it :)

u can also buy throwing knives in the market stall, then have a coffee at some shops. i feel doing this can help break up the repetitive nature of the game!

OK I can remember some one on here moaning that the enemy only attack one at a time.

Well I must a) be crap at computer games. or b) my copy has enhanced enemy AI.

I get like 6+ enemy all round me and they are all having a go at me. Its a ******* pain in the rear end.

either I find a way of killing multiple enemies or its trade in time.

Pull your right trigger and press x everytime a guard or someone comes to attack you...that should if you do it right allow you to block their move and then attack. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt...also works for punches etc.

Also bear in mind that the the further you get in the game the more ability you will have ie break attacks and dodging etc.

On that note...w00t finally hit 10k gamer pts:D:D:p

I have Assassin's Creed sat in front of me right now. It's still sealed in it's cellophane wrapping.

I can't decide whether to open and play it or send it back for a refund.

When the mixed reviews came in at the start of the week i cancelled my pre-order but they still sent it out. When it arrived I stuck the return address on it with the intention of posting it back tomorrow (Mon) but so many of you guys seem to be enjoying it I'm now having second thoughts.

/tosses a coin. Heads....hmmmm, best out of three methinks.
Well I decided to keep it but after a few days playing it just ain't my cup of tea. The graphics are gorgeous but as some of the reviews state it's just too repetitive for my liking. Time to unwrap Mass Effect...

The counter could be deadly if only he uses the blade everytime, except for at least 50% he only punches the guards. And sometimes I find another guard would swing at me when i am attacking another guard, I would use the knife but it seems you loses a bar of health even if you manage to block the hit.

I agree about the final battle being a bit easy, but the one before that where you have to go through about 100 guards was quite good, the best bit was I managed to hidden blade both bosses for the kill instead of using the sword.

Just picked this up today for PS3, its simply outstanding although the story line is quite confusing. Loving the free running - simply sublime.

Noticed you playing it earlier mate, have you ran into any of the reported 'lock-up' issues that have been reported yet?

Im loving this game me so far! I can see why people are complaining that its a bit samey (if thats a word ;) ), but I think its top drawer and its stopping me play COD4 :p

Im stuck anyone tell me how to do the mission to get the feather off the guys head. (hope you know the part im talkin about)
Everytime i try to kill the first bloke the mission goes wrong. :/

I finished it lastnight and yes it is repetitive but the story line is what made me want to drive on through it all....Will i play through it again?.....No chance :D

That's not to say it isn't a great game because it is :)
