Its only after visiting several major cities that I truly appreciate just how nice Manchester city centre is imo. Granted i've only ever been to Newcastle on a night out, and the girls were hotter and in abundance, but Newcastle is a bit of a grim city!

Newcastle is about a million times better than london. When i was back up north i never had half the problems i had than when i lived in london.
No-one ever threw a brick through my car window while i was driving in newcastle.
No-one broke into my house and stole everythign i owned in newcastle
No-one has ever tried to mug me in newcastle
No-one has ever said to me "what do you earn" within the first 5 mins of knowing them in newcastle.
If you could take out the skunks newcastle would be perfect.... Mind you they do make everyone else in the north east feel better about themselves

Newcastle is spot on, im here at uni and its great.
Not clean air, nicer than londons though, we have cleaner air in hartlepool, that says a lot
Only thing boro has giong for it over newcastle is parmos

stockton is awful on a night ! not to mention the amount of illegal immigrants there , this is why i was so ****** off when we got voted worst place to live and stockton didnt even get a mention :S

parmos up here are crap compared to in boro/stockton , they dont even use the same ingriedients :S
