Funny how times change.
When I first joined, this was a fairly common practice which was considerd by many to be spamming.
Now we have a moderator claiming to have started a spamming trend which has been going on for years.

I think I remember seeing it from ages ago from before I joined, haven't seen it for ages though and now I see it quite often so I presumed this was a new bout of it
