and how thick do you want it (in centimeters)

i'm not sure that that would suit the image, but i'll give it a go.

Ryanair Boeing 737-800 on the tarmac at Barajas?

Taking photos in the cockpit is a real challenge due to the massive difference in lighting. It's almost impossible to expose the internals properly without completely blowing out the windscreen. Ideally you could use fill in flash but given the circumstances it's generally frowned upon. I took loads of shots on my various jump seat rides and it took a lot of post processing work to get them to come out half acceptable.

I suppose this could be one kind of shot that would benefit from HDR?

there's camera shake?

anyway, here's a 25% example:

and the same example with some minor PP tweaking

But he's got the flash on so changing the ISO won't make the shutter any quicker than 1/60 in Aperture mode anyway.

If anything, he may as well have used ISO100/200.

And he must be half way through some kind of a seizure to get camera shake at 1/60 on a 30mm lens.

i'm fairly sure that a 350D with the onboard flash will sync to 1/200...

On Av I just tested on my 350D and it synced at 1/200. On manual max is 1/200.

Interesting.

My D70 will allow 1/60 on aperture and 1/500 on shutter and manual. I assumed Canons would function in a similar manner.

yes, but your D70 will only go to ISO200, while canons do half that! :p

nevertheless, there is camerashake in this image (somehow) at 1/60 which you can see at 100%

furthermore, does the threadstarter like my borders/PP changes?

hey, cheers guys, its made an interesting post to read this has

Correct, Flight into Madrid Ryanair 737-800

Camera shake probably due to the speed in which i had to take the photo, i was very rushed as the coach was waiting for me as i was last off the aircraft :-) as normal !!

I like the border yes, thats the sort of thing im after, i also like what you have done to it in PhotoShop, what exactly have you done then in PhotoShop ?
