the 8800GTX came out pretty much on time. But they had some good competition then (except the 7950gx2).

am i right in thinking the old GTS was only available in 320mb/640mb versions?
so if i happened to find somewhere listing a 512mb GTS it would be the new G92 version.
not much info there other than 512mb and 256bit

I don't know, they are supposed to be releasing that GX2 8 series card in January as ATi are releasing their GX2, so would be strange for them to kill it off after a couple of weeks for the 98's. :confused:

Why do you need to travel in time? The serposid online shop that accidently let people preorder canceled all the orders. But i know a palce where its not preorder, but i cant tell you bwecause of rules sorry

Thats rather silly, i see no reason nvidia wouldn't want early benchmarks out unless the gts isn;t really up to scratch and isn't worth the money.
