The games that started off PC gaming for you?

Mec warrior 3, C&C Red alert, Warbreeds and total annihilation. Well they were the ones I remember playing a lot now ;p

Borrowing Duke Nukem 3D off my friend when I was in school kicked it off for me. I remember putting loads of pipe bombs on that very first level everywhere and detonating them all at once :D.

I had an amega 1200 but i was to young to apericiate it think it was c&c that really got me into gaming
its the first game i really remember completing

On Pc the first game i bought was some game you played a doctor and had to do operations on, i cant even remember the name, but i bought it the same day as i bought 4d boxing which was awesome, it ran so slowly on my 286 though, i remember taking it into the local video games shop who had a 386, and it was silky smooth :)

Hmmm at what age did you guys all start gaming, you all name fairly recent games, I'm probably a lot younger ( I'm 16) yet I renember when I played games with 4 bit graphics.
Started gaming from the age of 3 :D and got my own pc on my room when I was 6, so 10 years ago. ( b4 that I just played downstairs)

had an amstrad tape drive thing back when i was wee nipper. Then an Amiga 600, a 386. then a pentium 120 lol, then a P3 266 then a p400, p800, +1600AMD, +3400 AMD, Last 2 years = e6300. now Q6600 lol How things change owned ps1, n64's, gamecube's & a wii inbetween.

Standout games:

Harrier Attack
Dizzy
Body blows
Aliens
Afterburner
Doom

God theres loads, I just cant remember there names anymore :( I just get flashbacks in my head... :)

Most standout game for me is on the AMiga 600 Cannon Fodder. So sad when that little soldier dies after you have nursed him through so many battles.

I also remember being at a Computer Fair in Brirmingham NEC Arena in early-mid 90's and being amazed at Rebel Alliance on the PC. That for me was when 3D stuff started happening.

EDIT: Just remembered more games like Lemmings, James Cod & zool
