Well I just pulled 2Gb of my ram out and clocked back up to 3.15Ghz and gained 1000 points on my score, running the above clocks my score is now 12545, maybe I should push some more.
Thats less then my gt at about the same CPU clock.

What sort of performance inceases are these cards showing when overclocked while playing crysis? I know benchies give an indication of performance, but real world apps (games) is what I'd be interested in, what sort of percentage increase over their old cards (8800gt I'm guessing here) would be nice to know![]()

How much faster is this than an 8800GT on avarage then in crysis?
Is this card any faster than a 8800gtx/ultra in crysis?
Why do you insist on putting post processing on medium? Why not just run it all high?

Because I have already done a run with it on medium?????
Plus most people run with it on medium.
Also its unplayable with a GT on high![]()
Odd it was playable for me on all high lol at 1680x1050, dont know the fps but it was playable, and no I did not check the ship part of the spaceship.

I play at 1920x1200 and while it was fine at the start once the bit around the ship kicked off it became unplayable.
Thats why I benched it at 1920x1200![]()
Hmmm I'm thinking if I can pull something off without making any loss I might get a GTS, looks like your GTS results at the higher res are the same as a GT at 1680x1050.
Really there is no real point, most people by now have played Crysis a few fps isn't gonna make it much more enjoyable.
Speaking of Crysis I played it all the way through on High with some extra effects and it was fine, even on the ship I was at 20-30FPS at 1680x1050, I had to restart the game though to refresh the memory it seemed.

I'd rather pay £30 now after selling a gt and get a gts and sell that for £170 come the 9800 than keep the gt and get £90 come the 9800.
