5 min footage from start of new alien film

Looks quite good that, nice to see the Predator home world. I wasn't particularly keen on the first one, but this is sparking my interest more and more.

The way the emergancy broadcast was like a phone call just made me think of the line:

"er dad, I think I messed up" :D
 
I like the part where the kid say "I'm scared"... yeh I remember being scared and saying that as well. I also remember the aliens... :p

I also like it when his arm burnt off and fell on the floor. Could the arm BE anymore fake!

What I really liked was that the Predator has a choice in helmets. The dudes got style

lol yeah, i liked how they used the music from the orginal Predator film as well. Think i read somewhere that this Predator is a "cleaner" of sorts, like Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction. He goes and sorts things out when it goes pear-shaped, he doesn't hunt for sport just kills anyone and anything to get the job done.

Sounds kinda cool. :D

As for the arm, yeah it does look a bit fake, but i wouldn't expect mega special effects if i were you, apparently the budget for this was lower than the 1st one. :(
 
I'm disappointed in the OP's choice of thread title because clearly this isn't going to be a proper Alien movie. But some cheese fest based on a comic book and computer game.

Watched half of it, thought it as really good. But then stopped as I don't want to know. Thig with these sort of films, is the first half is awesome. The 2nd have is so great. Just like in AVP I keep watching it due to the first half of the film.
