Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Wind your neck in. I'm buying this myself when it becomes officially available to us in the UK - I'm not knocking it but I think a glorified demo is quite an accurate description for it.

Your not knocking it, oh right seems so to me you were just assuming. Quite frankly i dont care what you call it. Those that have bought it want it and will play it NOW. I can easily see myself getting lots of gameplay out of it particulary online when it becomes available and online leaderboards for Time Trials.

Its only entertainment to me and im certainly for getting my moneys worth out of it. Its your choice to wait till March/April Uk release.

Thats fine mate - I'm not sure why you're getting your knickers in a twist to be honest

I too will enjoy it -I'll just be doing it a bit later than you. I'd get some kip mate - you're being far too sensitive about this.

I have no idea what a "Cat n Mouse" is supposed to mean but if you class a Mini in the same league as say a Murciélago then ok have a  yourself and it should be theres ;)

The reference i was making was to a game like PGR.
It includes Porsche/Lambo and yes even minis.

The point is this is GT and im not even sure they have the licensce to offer the cars your after. What makes a good racing game yes is several competitive cars but all too often it soon becomes aparent that most racing games fail to make several cars in each catogory competitive to race against. So having 30 cars in a group/category means liitle if the majority of cars arnt competitive enough.

Theirs usually always 1,2 maybe 3 cars that will leave the others in the same racing catagory behind. Therefore particulary with online people wil choose such cars that are known to be better on such tracks.

The only thing that is twisted is your opinion, lol.
As for the game i will defend it for its good points/ lack of content and modes or game time isnt one. Also like mentioned before i will certainly criticise its flaws and annoyances come a later time.

Im trying to be impartial and i dont care anything regards the system format.

You're going off at many tangents. I only called it a glorified demo and if you want to take that as a dig then feel free.

Downloading here!!!!

It started off slow, but now it's really taken off, and going really slow! ;)
Getting about 100k per sec.

Nothing wrong with my connection, had other stuff blasting down this morning... I guess it's... busy ;)

Anyway, doesn't matter, so long as it's here this afternoon, and I can give it a try at last :) 12% down, and counting...
V1N.

Ok, got my downloaded one installed now, thought id have a little play with the account mangement side ( sad i know). It seems that unlike Warhawk its not tied to the account you purchased it from, which is good news, so you can have it on your UK PSN ID. There is no car customization as far as i can tell only adjust traction control, tyres types etc, just like the demo. Not sure about sharing it yet im sure someone else will try that before i get a chance.

I only said it wasnt and explained personally for me why it isnt.

Look forward to other peoples reports...
btw "Eiger mountain" with 16 cars is a blast...

As for Lamobs most of them are easily beaten by other same class super cars, as PGR has shown in the past

My comments about Porsches & Lambos was a **** take - aimed towards those who were moaning about thier absence in this release. :D

Star out swearies FULLY ~ Zefan.

Oh i do like the london track, i can see some good battles round that narrow track. I see the crowd actually moves and reacts this time, only noticed it in London so far but in the replay you see them move close to the barriers when you approach and follow the cars. They also get outta they way , kind off, if you hit the barrier. Shame i gotta go to work , i could listen to that GT jazz all day lol. NICE :D

No Porsches or Lambo's ????!!!! - throws a rope over bannister, places dangly end around neck, steps onto a chair and jumps .....

Why shouldnt I want at least one car thats always been in the GT series (Porsche /RUF) instead of several similar models of the same car?

Don't forget it's only a "glorified demo" we can't have everything, it's possible they haven't even modelled the Porsche's yet.

Prologue is a just a platform for testing the online system and getting some feedback, it should make for a better final product.
