Subway prices...

I've not been a student for a couple of years now.

Also if you expect me to sit in the middle of town with a loaf of bread and that other stuff you must be joking.

Fact is I find Subway sandwiches very tasty, don't give a crap about "healthy eating", prefer the convenience of someone else making it for me and think it's worth the price. Therefore I'll do it, won't I.

i guess your not a student, well, certainly not an economy student anyway.
But you eat like one.

The idea is you make a big batch of sarnies on sunday night, then you eat them through the week.
Its much cheaper and much more healthy.

I "eat like a student" because I like to drop in Subway if I'm hungry in town?

I cook at home, how does that mean I eat like a student?

Edit: More importantly, why do you hate students so much?

I don't post in GD much so I don't know what the new trend is, but I guess hating students is "in" now?

Probably, just laugh at him the next time hes sat in the rain making his dinner.

I get an hr for lunch I don't want to spend that making food, I suppose the same will go for most people.

Fair enough if you like subway sandwiches. I have been caught short and dived into a subway once or twice. It was very average and not particularly satisfying - but it is better than McD's and so on.

Aye I just don't eat at places like KFC because I just don't like the food really.

Subway Italian BMTs just hit me in the right spot. :)

I could probably count the number of times I've had one on my hand, but as you said its easy, convinient and better than the others.

Sub of the day is always a fair price imo, 1.99 for a nice 6" , it does entirely depend on the day though!

Loaf of uber healthy bread £1.00
Block of cheese £1.00
mixed salad £1.00
Ham £1.00
Jar of pickle or simmilar £1.00
Butter £1.00

Id also like to know what cheese you can get for a quid! , cheapest i can get is about 1.70 for something "semi" decent

Who cares really?

Just enjoy eating your brick of a sandwhich on a Friday and leave other people to eat what they want. It doesn't make you superior because you "make your own lunch".

I get myself a nice chicken, pesto, mozzarella and tomato sandwich in a toasted ciabatta from the local deli. Far superior to anything at subway.
